Reaching 10,000 People with Education and Awareness:
Since its founding, the Chifundo Epilepsy Awareness Foundation has successfully reached over 10,000 people in Malawi through various educational forums, seminars, and local public media efforts. This has significantly raised awareness and provided crucial information about epilepsy to the community
Establishment of the Epilepsy Centre
The foundation has established an epilepsy center dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and providing learning support programs for children with epilepsy. This center offers a crucial resource for individuals in need of medical and educational support
Free Epilepsy Outreach Clinics
The organization runs 11 free epilepsy outreach clinics in rural areas, reaching previously unreached communities. These clinics have provided essential medical care and support to many individuals who would otherwise not have access to such services.
Support for 600 Patients
The foundation has helped 600 patients become seizure-free, including 200 children who are now able to attend school. These individuals receive free anti-epileptic drugs monthly, allowing them to lead more stable and productive lives
